Disability Living Allowance (DLA)

The Disability Living Allowance (DLA) can be claimed byindividuals with severe: Dyslexia / Dyspraxia and some other Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLDs). These problems must be severe in nature.

To claim this allowance you will need to have a comprehensive Educational Psychologist Assessment. If this shows positive for dyslexia / dyspraxia, or other specific learning difficulties (SpLDs) you may be entitled to claim the Disability Living Allowance (DLA).
